There are 3 Total Gym models. The GTS, Power Tower and Sport.

The Total gym GTS

The total gym GTS is the most popular of them all. The newest model shown below has a significant change with the glide board. Until now, the glide board (which you lay on) was always at whatever angle the rails were set to. However, some exercises require that more stability, such as a torso rotation. While the guide rails are still angled to provide the gravity resistance, the actual glide board is now hinged to raise from the bottom so it's flat like a weight bench. This does NOT affect the resistance at all. It's simply alloying you to do certain exercises while your body is flat.

The Total Gym Power Tower

The Total Gym Power Tower is the same unit, but allows for electronic incline and decline via a small button on the handle. While you're working out you can lower and raise the rails to change resistance.

The Total Gym Sport

The Total Gym Sport is a smaller version of the gts. No ability to adjust the glide board to a flat position and no lat bars (limiting the number of exercises). The Total Gym GTS is our #1 seller of them all. Packed with features, you can do over 200 exercise. With the added accessories, it's endless. We have Total Gym GTS experts standing by to take your calls at 800-989-2941. Let us help you pick the Total Gym GTS that's best for you.
