About the 5 Total Gym Models:
Total Gym GTS: This is the latest and greatest 2012 model. The major differences are: A. glide board now adjusts parallel to the ground, has more resistance levels, is easier to fold/unfold and the pulleys can be positioned anywere on the vertical black lat bars that look like rabbit ears. It comes with the items shown in the product picture. Optional accessories can be ordered and are listed below.

Total Gym Power Tower: Exact same model as the above GTS, but there is a button on the handle that allows for electronic, automatic incline and decline so you don't have to get off and raise or lower the guide rails.

Total Gym Sport: exactly the same as the GTS, however, there are no adjustable pulleys (they are fixed) and the glide board does not adjust to a parallel position.

Total Gym Power Tower Classic: "Classic" means last year's model. It's brand new, but does not offer the adjustable glide board to a parallel position and has half the positions for the glide board angle (however, has almost the identical resistance percentage). To add Subtle resistance increments, use the weight bar accessory. There are a limited quantities of this model left. Once sold out, this unit is discontinued. However, it will not be a problem to get parts if required.

Total Gym XLS: This is the home model seen on TV. Holds less weight and provides less weight resistance than the obove models. See the comparison chart for details.
